The owner of MDH Company Mahashay Dharampal Gulati passes away on Saturday night.

According to resources he was in the hospital in the national capital. He was ill for a long time.

Mahashay Dharampal Gulati was the only son of company's owner Mahashay chunni LaGulatiti.

His Father has a shop of spices in Lahore. Dharampal don't have any further interest in studies so he started working along with his father.

After partition, he came to Delhi and started pulling bullock carts for his living but that didn't worked at all.

He decided to take forward his family business and started a shop of spices at Karol Bagh Ajmal Khan road.

Dharampal operated his shop like his father used to do. He is famously known as masale wale chacha.

Later he was turned into a millionaire and one of the most loving faces of TV commercials.

Lived a very luxurious lifestyle and made his own fortune with his MDH Company. He was in the list of India's leading businessmen.

MDH owner Dharampal Gulati owns 80℅ stake in MDH owns 15 factories, 20 schools and 1 hospital with the net worth of 500 crore.

MDH is also the exporter of more than 60 products in more than 100 countries like Switzerland, Japan, Canada, south East Asia, UAE and Saudi Arabia like countries.


In 2017 Mahashay declared was declared one of the most highly paid CEO in the FMCG sector. Marketed his products in such a way it was spitted in masses.
