58 Dead and 60 Injured in Amritsar. Train Smashed in Burning Raavan.

It's very sad when you hear some bad news on the day of the festival. The railway accident took place near the venue where Dussehra has celebrated near Joda Phatak near chaura bazar in Amritsar when the train (DMU- 74943) collapsed with burning Raavan.

More than 50 injured people were taken to the hospital admitted by Punjab police. A Large number of peoples were standing on the track to watch the event. As the fire went off a large part of the crowd went down.

Reporters said Raavan was being burnt on the railway tracks when the accident took place

Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife was the chief guest at that event she eye-witnessed the whole event but she left.

Two trains were coming from the different direction giving some opportunity to the people to escape

Witnesses also said dead people also includes children around 700 people were present at that time on the accident spot.

“The rail administration and Dussehra committee were both had fault” they must have to make sure about safety security measures of the event.

Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh announced that he will be giving Rs 5 lakh compensation to the victim of the Punjab train accident he rushed to the spot to personally supervise rescue and relief operations to the victims. 

Rahul Gandhi asked Congress workers to provide immediate relief to the victims of the accident. Made condolences to the died and prayed for injured for the speedy recovery.

Prime minister Narendra Modi also provided assistance for the victims and also released funds for the people injured.

Navjot Singh Sidhu said he will look forward into the situation and will make a solution of it. It will not a good thing to make it a tool to play politics as the people who died today has there families.

Sidhu got involved in it because his wife was the chief guest at that event she eye-witnessed the whole scenario and left without even saying a single word.
